Work with early childhood educators, child care providers, preschool teachers, or large groups of children on a regular basis? If so, join us for a fun-filled, intensive professional development experience to learn more about physical activity, motor skills development, and active play for young children. Develop the skills necessary to lead adults and children in developmentally appropriate movement experiences.

Be Active Kids has teamed up with Dr. Diane Craft of Active Play Books and other international, national and local experts in the fields of Health, Physical Activity, Recreation, Physical Education, Play, Nature, and Community Environments to provide an extensive physical activity training experience to individuals working with child care providers, preschool teachers or others who interact with large groups of young children on a regular basis.

If you are accepted and attend ALL THREE DAYS of the institute, you will receive 1.8 CEUs and a complimentary registration to the 2019 Natural Learning Initiative Design Institute.

If you are registering for the full, three day institute please be sure you have contacted Be Active Kids in advance to ensure that your are a qualified candidate. The ECPAI Full registration includes the Opening Session (3 guest speakers from 9:00 - 1:00 on May 20th), the Continuing Education Workshop (2 1-hour sessions Dr. Gray and Dr. Drollett from 2:00pm - 4:00pm on May 20th), and the additional two day, interactive sessions with Be Active Kids and Dr. Diane Craft of Active Play Books (May 21st and May 22 from 8:30am - 5:00pm). Cost of the Full Institute is $250.

The Early Childhood Physical Activity Institute is an exclusive opportunity that is only open to 15 people each year. Since we have more applications than spots we try to select the most appropriate candidates that will be most likely to transfer the knowledge and skills they learn into ongoing practices and sustainable actions.
